Abstract

Karol Horák was born in 1943 in Katarínska Huta, in the Lučenec district of south central Slovakia. He went to university at Prešov and now lectures on Slovak literature at the Arts Faculty there. At the same time he is active in both the professional and amateur theatre in Prešov and has written or produced a number of plays. Some of his work has been performed on the wireless.
