Abstract

My proximate aim in this paper is to clarify the vital role of the III^rd "Investigation" in Husserl's project for his Logical Investigations (LI)¹.My ultimate aim is to show how the LI opened the way to — indeed, constituted — a realist understanding of consciousness (as well as language) and reality.
