Abstract

A 27-year-old white male, John T., was brought to the emergency center by friends who said he had had a seizure. He promptly had another seizure in the emergency room and in a period of observation the EEG continued to show seizure activity; his level of consciousness varied; periodically he had additional peripheral discharges.
