The workshop was dedicated to the figure and work of the German mathematician, philosopher and educator Grete Hermann (1901–1984), in particular her remarkable work on the foundations of quantum mechanics in the 1930s. The initial transcription was made by Thomas P. Scott and edited by Guido Bacciagaluppi and Elise Crull.
