Abstract
As I stated at the outset of this work, for much of its two thousand-year history, Christianity has operated as if it were the only game in town, or at least the only game that mattered. In this respect, the four theologians we have examined end up offering more of the same. Despite dramatic differences in method, in their construal of "the Christian," and in the authority structures upon which they ground their theological formulations, they continue to operate as if religious others have nothing important or relevant to contribute to the Christian theological conversation.
