Abstract

Space and time are not comprehended as independent entities, but as forms of the dependence of the phenomena on one another. Therefore, I steer toward the principle of relativity, which is also firmly upheld in [my books] Die Mechanik, Wärmelehre, and [the chapter] “Space and Time - Physically Considered” in Erkenntnis und Irrtum, 1904, cf. H. Minkowski, Raum und Zeit, 1909.2
