Abstract

In previous chapters we have been concerned with abstract richness and paradigmatic interpretations of systemic concepts, particularly focusing on "System" and "complexity". In the last chapter emphasis was placed on histories and progressions in systems thinking, but of course this too was centered on issues relating to systemic concepts as they are articulated by discontinuities in discourse. In fact, up to now, we have dealt with liberating" systems theory" (L'sT"), trying to work out a position where the full potential of systems thinking can be clearly understood and not masked by self-misunderstanding or self-grandeur.
