Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to enhance the works of Santiago Ramirez, a man of whom little is remembered and yet it is through his own carefully researched volume that we have a great deal of historical information about the institution for which he cared most: the Colegio de Minería (College of Mines). It is worthwhile for us to look upon some details about his life in the College.
