Ethics and international relations
Hakan Seckinelgin, Hideaki Shinoda (eds)
Palgrave Macmillan - Basingstoke
2001
The end of the Cold War and the discussions concerning the process of globalization have brought the study of international politics face to face with new issues such as human rights, humanitarian interventions, environmental concerns, global social movements and health issues like HIV/AIDS. The challenges arising from these issues require novel theoretical approaches that are not limited to the traditional ethical concerns of international politics.
